Privacy Policy

How dynattenik handles personal information, and what you can require of us under the laws of the United Kingdom, Canada and California.

Last updated: 14 October 2026 Effective: 14 October 2026

1. The short version

We collect as little as we can. This site runs no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. It sets no cookies. We do not sell or share personal information, and we never see your payment details, because purchases happen on Amazon rather than here.

  • We do not ask for personal information to browse this site.
  • If you email us, we use your message only to reply to you.
  • Our host records standard server logs, which include IP addresses.
  • Typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts, which does receive your IP address.

2. Who we are

This site is operated by dynattenik. For the purposes of the UK GDPR we are the controller of the information described here.

  • Legal name: REPLACE_LEGAL_NAME
  • Registered address: REPLACE_ADDRESS
  • Privacy contact: REPLACE_PRIVACY_EMAIL

REPLACE_LEGAL_NAME must be replaced with the registered legal entity, and REPLACE_ADDRESS with its full geographic address. United Kingdom consumer protection rules require a trading business to publish both, and the same information is expected of sellers in the United States and Canada.

3. What we collect

Information you give us

If you email [email protected], we receive your email address, your name if you include one, and whatever else you write. We use it only to answer you.

Information collected automatically

Our hosting provider records the standard information every web server does: your IP address, browser and operating system, the page requested, the referring page and a timestamp. This is needed to deliver pages and to spot abuse.

Typeface delivery

This site loads Inter and IBM Plex Mono from Google Fonts. When your browser requests them, Google receives your IP address and user-agent string. Google acts as an independent controller for that data under its own Privacy Policy.

What we do not collect

No payment card details, no account registration, no advertising or analytics identifiers, and no special category or sensitive information such as health, biometrics or precise location.

4. Cookies

This site sets no cookies and uses no local storage to track you. Nothing is stored on your device by us, so no consent banner is needed today.

If we ever add analytics or any other non-essential storage, we will ask for your consent first — as the UK's Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) require — and this policy will be updated before that happens.

5. Legal bases (UK GDPR)

Under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 we rely on:

  • Legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)) — delivering pages, keeping the site secure and preventing abuse.
  • Legitimate interests — answering enquiries you send us.
  • Consent (Article 6(1)(a)) — only for any non-essential cookies, if they are ever introduced. You may withdraw consent at any time.
  • Legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c)) — where we must keep or disclose records.

6. How we use information

  • To serve and secure this website.
  • To answer technical and sales enquiries.
  • To keep records we are legally required to keep.
  • To improve the site — using aggregate data only, never to profile you.

We do not use your information for automated decision-making or profiling.

7. Who we share it with

  • Hosting — Cloudflare Pages serves this site and processes server logs.
  • Email — our email provider handles correspondence.
  • Typefaces — Google receives your IP address through Google Fonts.
  • Authorities — only where the law compels disclosure.

We do not sell, rent or trade personal information, and we do not disclose it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

8. International transfers

Some of the providers above are based in the United States. Where personal information leaves the UK, we rely on the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, together with any additional safeguards those instruments require.

9. How long we keep it

  • Correspondence — for as long as it takes to help you, then as long as needed for our records.
  • Server logs — retained by our host for a short operational period.

We do not keep personal information longer than we need it.

10. Your rights — United Kingdom

Under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 you have the right to be informed, to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to processing, and to data portability. Where processing rests on consent you may withdraw it at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, email REPLACE_PRIVACY_EMAIL. We answer within one month.

You may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk). You do not need to contact us first, though we would like the chance to help.

11. Your rights — Canada

We handle personal information in line with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and its ten fair information principles. You may ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, and withdraw consent to uses that relied on consent, subject to legal and contractual limits.

You may raise a concern with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (priv.gc.ca). Residents of Québec may also contact the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec under Law 25, and residents of Alberta and British Columbia may contact their provincial commissioners.

12. Your rights — California

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA, you have the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to delete it, the right to correct it, the right to opt out of sale or sharing, the right to limit the use of sensitive personal information, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them. You may use an authorised agent.

We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA/CPRA, and we have not done so in the preceding 12 months. We do not collect sensitive personal information. Because we do not sell or share, there is no "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link to offer.

California residents may email REPLACE_PRIVACY_EMAIL to exercise any of these rights. We verify requests before acting on them.

13. Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Access to correspondence is limited to people who need it to answer you. No transmission over the internet can be guaranteed secure, but we take the safeguards that are reasonable for a site of this size.

14. Children's privacy

This site is aimed at engineers, technicians and procurement professionals, not children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Under the US Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and the UK's age of consent we do not knowingly collect from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

15. Changes

We will update this page when our practices change, and revise the date at the top. If a change is material we will say so here.
